Teodora Todorova is an artist working primarily oil painting, but also classic animation and interior design. She was born in Bulgaria and art has been her passion since childhood, encouraged and supported by her father, a professional sculptor. Teodora started her formal art education at the age of 14, when she was admitted to High School of Fine Arts. She studied in the Faculty of Fine Arts in St. Cyril and Metodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria where she earned her MA degree in Fine Arts and Art Education, with specialization in Oil painting. During the five years in the university she studied oil painting, figurative sculpture, printing, figurative drawing, fresco and mosaic. Teodora also studied in New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria, where she specialized in Computer Arts and Animation.
After her graduation Teodora worked as animator and character designer in Bulgaria, Hungary and USA. In the year of 2000 she moved to USA and has been living in New York City since then. She worked on TV Funhouse cartoons for Saturday Night Live on NBC and later become one of the artists creating for Danbury Mint, Norwalk, CT. She is a member of the USA Scenic Artist Union.
